MAKE UP FOR EVER Opens on Robertson Boulevard TODAY!!

To say that I was excited about today's MAKE UP FOR EVER Flagship Boutique opening on Robertson Boulevard is a bit of an understatement. My excitement began some time ago when I first learned about the plan to set up shop right here in Los Angeles. With such a formidable array of professional makeup artists densely packed into the entertainment capital of the world-- it only made sense to have it here.

As I drove down Beverly Boulevard my excitement went through the roof when I looked up to see a billboard announcing the 11/11/11 grand opening of the MUFE Boutique on Robertson. When I arrived a few minutes later I was greeted by helpful, happy and downright excited makeup artists and managers alike. Katelyn, the Manager of Public Relations, gave me a fantastic tour of the entire makeup mecca from top to bottom. She introduced me to Albert, one of their extraordinary Artists- who spent so much time with me. We had a blast playing with all of the fabulous colors-- both of us effusively gushing over the store and all of the products.

For those of you out there who lose yourself in the MUFE aisle at Sephora-- brace yourselves-- you will find nirvana at this glorious boutique. This boutique has everything-- I mean everything. It is a one-stop-shop for professionals and the general public alike. If you are a professional makeup artist or work in special effects-- there is no end to what you could add to your kit- from fake blood with varying degrees of viscosity to state of the art HD makeup (that was originally conceived for TV & Film, but was quickly discovered by even the most finicky makeup aficionados around the globe). The dizzying array of beautifully pigmented products made my heart beat faster, but everything was so well organized that it was easy to approach. Makeup junkies who love quality products with consistently superb pigmentation should plan a trip-- book your flight, fill up your gas tank- do whatever you have to do to make this worthwhile visit.

This is an amazing destination. I feel so lucky to live a couple miles away-- which means I will be making lots and lots of visits. I kid you not when I say that I would drive a very great distance to visit this store and hang out with the knowledgeable and outstanding people who work there. A special shout-out to Jenn, Joseph, Albert & Katelyn-- I look forward to seeing all of you again very soon. CONGRATULATIONS on your new gorgeous boutique!
