René Furterer 5 Sens Enhancing Dry Oil is a lovely treat that I purchased a while ago and I am so happy that I did. I am very surprised that I haven't reviewed anything from René Furterer before since this is a brand that I fell head-over-heels in love with as a late teen. My mom, sister and I used to purchase their products together, and all of us were completely devoted to this incredible French brand.

René Furterer 5 Sens Enhancing Dry Oil is a beautifully fast absorbing dry oil that can be used on the hair and body. It has a lovely soft aroma that is a treat to the senses, but it isn't long lasting or in the least bit cloying. When I use it on my body, it melts into the skin and leaves it soft, supple, hydrated and nourished. For the hair, it offers extraordinary hydration and leaves locks soft, smooth and manageable. It tames frizz and fly-aways, and it gives hair a glossy shine.

JOJOBA OIL: Originally from the arid, hot regions of Arizona, California, and Mexico, Jojoba has long been used in traditional medicine for hair regeneration because of its nutritive virtues. It was also used as a remedy to help skin heal and protect the skin and hair from the dryness of the desert. Jojoba wax is extracted from the jojoba seeds. Its composition is very close to that of the natural oils in human skin, the sebum that makes up part of the hydrolipidique layer of the hair.

SWEET ALMOND OIL: Symbol of love and virginity, the almond tree is the first fruit tree to flower at the end of winter. Its rose white flowers evoke a wedding dress. Soothing and emollient, sweet almond oil nourishs the skin and hair with a protective film.

CASTOR OIL: Originally from Northeast tropical Africa, castor oil is cultivated today in numerous tropical and temperate regions. Containing essential fatty acids, castor oil has healing, regenerating, and hydrating properties for the skin. It favors hair growth and leaves hair shiny and soft.

AVOCADO Oil: Originating in Central America, Avocados were used by the Aztecs and Mayas over 8000 years ago in potions designed to slow down aging, as well as in treatments to encourage hair growth. Overall Assessment: This is definitely one of my best recent purchases, and I will definitely buy another bottle when I finish this one. A+
