Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream Sneak Peek

Purchased (Affiliate Links)

For nearly a month I have quietly been exclusively testing Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream, and I decided to let you know about this just before I conclude my 27+ days of testing. This product has received a lot of hype since it launched, but I was honestly more interested in trying it after reading about the creator of this line. Augustinus Bader is a physician and biomedical scientist who created his products after more than 30 years of research and innovation in his field.

Professor Bader suggests using his cream for 27+ days since that is the amount of time it takes for a full cycle of skin cell turnover. Therefore, for optimal results one should initially test this cream alone and avoid all other products except for your daily cleanser, and obviously your sunscreen. That is precisely what I have been doing, and I will share my results in less than a week!

About Augustinus Bader:

Professor Augustinus Bader is a globally recognized biomedical scientist and physician and one of the foremost experts in the field of stem cell biology and regenerative medicine.

In a career that has spanned the globe, the German-born Professor has spent over 30 years researching and developing technologies that activate and harness the human body's capacity to heal, with a focus on the reawakening of cells that become dormant due to aging or trauma. In 2008 he developed a groundbreaking Wound Gel that heals severe skin traumas without the need for surgery or skin grafts. It is this revolutionary technique that inspired Augustinus Bader skincare.

Professor Bader is currently the director of Cell Techniques and Applied Stem Cell Biology at The University of Leipzig, in Leipzig, Germany where he lives with his family.

  1. I can't wait to hear more about this! I love that you are giving it the full testing time to accurately review it. It almost looks like a serum more than a moisturizer!

    1. I really wanted to test it the way that he intended, and given that he is a doctor, professor and scientific researcher, I thought that I should take into consideration that he sought to follow the 27+ day skin cell turnover occurrence for good reason! It is thin looking, almost like a serum, but wow is it ever emollient and moisturizing! The consistency is amazing!

  2. Oh, I think The Rich Cream would be perfect for my dry, mature skin in a cold climate! I'm also interested because, like the dermatologist/scientist from Theraderm, he came upon an effective formula through his research for a wound treatment. It sounds perfect. Eager to hear your results!

    1. This is definitely the one to try for your skin type, Allison! Yes, I am interested for precisely the same type of reasons. Plus I am always innately interested in the types of formulas the doctor's and scientific researchers create. They come at it from a different place than people who work in cosmetic labs, generally speaking. I really followed his advise to only use this and a cleanser (and obviously a sunscreen) for a duration of 27+ days. It makes sense to follow the natural rhythm of the body and it's inherent exfoliation cycle! I can't wait to post my final results after I finish my 27 days!

    1. I can't wait to finish up my testing and share my thoughts with all of you! It is very expensive, there is no question about that. However, I was able to pick it up from Sephora for one of the 20% off events, and that definitely took some of the ouch out of the price!

  4. I've noticed articles about his products lately. This sounds great and I love that it's fragrance free.

    1. There definitely has been some buzz about this product, in particular, but I really wanted to see if it measured up to the hype or not. I was also very curious about it since he is a medical doctor, a professor and a scientific researcher. This is the result of 30 years of research, and that is ultimately what made me want to try it, not reviews (and I didn't really read many of those).
