Rahua is the embodiment of the perfect hair care brand for me. It is cruelty-free, uses top quality natural ingredients, practices enviable sustainability practices, and last but not least Rahua makes exemplary ultra-luxe hair products that are a joy to use. Rahua Omega 9 Hair Mask is my latest obsession from their collection, and I want to shout about its virtues from my virtual rooftop!

Rahua Omega 9 Hair Mask is a nourishing and moisturizing mask that deeply conditions hair and scalp. It is mid-weight and very emollient- yet it neither weighs hair down, nor does it leave behind a greasy film. Instead, it rinses clean while perfectly conditioning the hair and scalp. Simply comb it through wet, freshly shampooed, hair– working it though from roots to ends, and lightly massaging the scalp. You can leave it on your hair for 10-15 minutes, as suggested, but I periodically wait about 30 minutes before rinsing my hair. It leaves hair remarkably soft, smooth, hydrated, frizz-free and with a gorgeous glossy shine. It has a lovely lavender aroma that is calming and soothing, but it is neither in the least bit pungent, nor overpowering.

Crafted from plant-based ingredients, this intensive, professional-strength conditioning hair mask is designed to work like an in-salon treatment, deeply penetrating the hair shaft and fortifying it from root to tip, leaving hair strong, soft, shiny, and hydrated. Naturally scented with calming lavender and uplifting eucalyptus. Best for all hair types.

Directions: After shampooing hair, work mask into hair and onto scalp, thoroughly massaging in for maximum penetration. Comb through. Leave in for 10 to 15 minutes then rinse and style as usual. Use weekly to maintain high shine and hair and scalp health.

RAHUA (UNGURAHUA): Amazonian women have for eons depended on the oil from this tree nut to nurture and strengthen their hair. It fortifies weak, damaged strands, nourishes and maintains hair follicle and scalp health, and its super-fine molecules push color pigmentation deep into the hair shaft, greatly extending color endurance. We use Symbiotic®* Rahua.

SUNFLOWER SEED OIL: Pressed from sunflower seeds, this oil is loaded with vitamin E and oleic acid, a natural moisturizer which strengthens and softens hair, promotes growth, eliminates frizz, and adds shine.

QUINOA: Known by ancient Incans as “the mother of all grains”, this gluten-free superfood revitalizes hair and promotes healing and moisture retention.

LAVENDER: Prized around the world since ancient times, the smoky, herbal scent of this flowering plant (ours is cultivated in France) calms the mind and soothes the senses.

EUCALYPTUS: Well-known for refreshing and clarifying properties, it also helps to extend time between shampoos

Overall Assessment: This ultra-luxe eco-hair mask is utter perfection for my naturally curly hair, and to date it is one of the very finest hair masks that I have used. If you have not tried Rahua haircare, you owe it to yourself to try something from this brand– their products really are that good.
