Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Blush Glow Light to Medium two ultra-finely milled powders that feel silky-smooth, and creamy, to the touch. Both glide across the skin effortlessly, deposit color evenly, and they neither emphasize pores, nor do they settle into fine lines.
The neutral, and very flattering, bronzer is a skin-flattering light tan shade that is punctuated by luminous golden pearl that gives the complexion an ethereal glow. It offers sheer to buildable coverage, and can be used as a bronzer and a contour shade. I am pleased to say that it remains true-to-color, and never oxidized on my skin.
The blush, which is a very flattering neutral soft pink, has the perfect amount of golden pearl for a glowing, lit-from within, flush that is so beautiful on the skin. The color is a fairly close match for Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic Swish & Pop Blusher in Love is the Drug, and therefore if you are trying to select one or the other, then Filmstar Bronze & Blush Glow Light to Medium should be your choice if you want a bronzer too, otherwise save yourself some money and purchase Love is the Drug.
The palette, which includes its own brush, is the perfect size for travel, and the elegant Deco-inspired palette is pretty enough to leave out on your vanity. The small brush, which appears to have synthetic bristles, has a short handle and a full size head, and works perfectly with the palette.

Such a beautiful compact! But I am holding out for the blush because I don't use bronzer.
ReplyDeleteI highly recommend trying on of her blushes, you will LOVE the quality!
DeleteI'm not a bronzer user but this sure does look gorgeous. I'm sure I'll pick up one of the blushes though when I get to the counter.
ReplyDeleteIf you know that you won't use the bronzer side of this duo, then it definitely a better idea to save some money and pick up one of her blushes instead! I can't wait for your counter to open– you are going to be rendered speechless by all of the tempting things that you will want when you see them all together in the same place!!!!!
DeleteI should pick this up, I have Love Glow and love it. The bronzer looks like it work on fair skin too.
ReplyDeleteI highly recommend this palette– especially since you have, and love, Love Glow, and if you are inclined to use the bronzer! The bronzer works very well on fair skin, and it isn't orange and it doesn't oxidize! I think that you would really love it, and it boasts the same quality as her blushes!
DeleteSo gorgeous! I'm not much for bronzer either, but I love the Sex on Fire blush for a neutral pink shade.
ReplyDeleteIt is definitely a very special palette! Sex on Fire is such a gorgeous blush! I have been eyeing it!
DeleteI love Charlotte Tilbury products! I am currently deciding what to buy next from her line.
ReplyDeleteI do too, and I am too! LOL! Such an impressive, and high quality, brand!
DeleteThat blush is stunning, and the bronzer is pretty too, although I dont tend to wear it much.
ReplyDeleteThey are both definitely gorgeous, and they are such a pleasure to use!
DeleteI've heard a lot of positive reviews about the Filmstar duos from Charlotte Tilbury. I'm tempted to try the one with the contour and highlight.
ReplyDeleteThey are so finely milled. I don't own the highlight and bronzer one, but I have ben very tempted because the texture is so amazing– finely milled, silky smooth and creamy in feel.
