Uma is an ultra-luxe niche beauty brand that makes gorgeous handcrafted skincare products based upon Ayurvedic tradition. Using methods passed down for generations, their products boast potent formulas, exquisite ingredients and a rich heritage from which they create extraordinary products. Their handcrafted oil blends are effective, live up to their claims, and they are a visceral pleasure to use. Their botanical blends smell otherworldly, and are formulated to, "enhance outer radiance and restore inner balance." Given my penchant for luxury face oils, I was elated to try this beautiful oil, and my elation has been matched by my love of this glorious creation.

UMA Ultimate Brightening Face Oil is a lightweight and fast absorbing oil that gives skin a pronounced ethereal glow. Conceived to brighten and stimulate skin cell turnover, this face oil evens skin tone, helps fade hyperpigmentation, softens the appearance of fine lines, deeply hydrates the skin, and leaves it baby soft and ultra smooth. The formula is concentrated, and therefore only a few drops are needed for the face, neck and décolleté, and I find that applying it to warm, freshly cleansed and slightly damp skin, allows one to use even less oil.

The Aroma, which is an amalgam of the Rose, Neroli, Sandalwood, Lavender Frankincense, Ylang Ylang, Geranium Essential, Orange and Clary Sage Essential Oils, is warm and soothing. In fact, the aroma is to be savored, and its experiential nature encourages one to slow down and relish  every moment of their skincare ritual.

This triple-action brightening blend is rich in sandalwood and rose essential oils, which deliver rich hydration for a more luminous complexion. Vitamin C rich orange and neroli essential oils, along with rejuvenating frankincense essential oil, stimulate rapid cellular turnover to regenerate damaged skin cells, diminish visible signs of fatigue, and even out skin tone – for visibly radiant skin. This blend is formulated in a pomegranate oil base, to speed up absorption and ensure active ingredients rapidly penetrate the epidermis.
