REN Rose O12 Moisture Defence Oil is such a glorious, rich beauty oil that this is actually the second bottle that I have purchased. It is a very luxurious and deeply moisturizing beauty oil that is comprised of 12 oils that were carefully selected to protect, hydrate and condition dry and dehydrated skin. It leaves skin utterly soft, silky smooth, luminous and it softens the appearance of fine lines. Furthermore, it calms and soothes irritated and inflamed skin, and therefore is a good oil choice after peels and exfoliation.
While I have decidedly normal to combination skin, I find that this beauty oil is perfect for my face during the colder months of the year, and it is perfect for my neck and décolleté all year long. It has an irresistibly beautiful rose aroma that is both elegant and intoxicatingly addictive and calming, but its fragrant bouquet fades soon after it sinks in. While it is a rich oil, it absorbs into the skin quickly and doesn't leave behind a greasy residue– unless, of course, you use too much. It is quite concentrated, and therefore a little goes quite a long way. If you apply it to warm, slightly damp freshly washed skin, then a few drops is all that you need for your face, neck and décolleté.
According to REN,
This concentrated cocktail of 12 oils locks in moisture to plump the skin, helps restore natural radiance, softness, and elasticity, and protects against free radicals to combat visible signs of premature aging. It's enriched with an array of ingredients that work together to create skin that's hydrated and smooth. Ceramides from carthame oil, phospholipids from soybean, and essential fatty acids from seabuckthorn berry oil and rosehip seed oil help to repair skin. Octacosenoic acid from ximenia oil locks moisture into the skin to restore softness, elasticity, and optimum comfort. Tocotrienols from cranberry seed oil protect the skin against oxidative damage and premature aging.
Directions: Apply to freshly cleansed skin in the morning, before moisturizer.

Rose oil sounds like heaven. In fact, I'm using an oil now that I love in terms of the weight of the oil and the results, but I can't take the strong jasmine scent. I need a bottle of Ren Rose Oil ASAP!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry that the oil you are using is overpowering with Jasmine! I love Jasmine, but if anything is too fragrant it can be off putting. This REN oil is lovely and not too fragrant. I think that you would love it. Plus it's perfect for dry skin!
DeleteLovely sounding and if you enjoy it this much I know it's the best!
ReplyDeleteI really love this oil, and can't believe this is my second bottle.
DeleteThis sounds lovely for moisturizing the face.
ReplyDeleteIt really is, and it's very calming and moisturizing! Perfect for the winter!
DeleteI've been meaning to try this brand. Good to know you liked it, I will consider it w/ my next purchase
ReplyDeleteI've been using different REN products for many years, and am very impressed by them. Definitely worth trying!
DeleteI haven't used much from REN, but this sounds so great. My face hasn't gotten as dry as it usually does in winter, but I'm sure it will catch up with me sooner or later.
ReplyDeleteThis is definitely one of my favorite products from REN, and definitely worth considering if your skin starts to feel dry!
DeleteI think this would be a wonderful massage oil!
ReplyDeleteI would say yes for facial massage, but it soaks in quickly and wouldn't be well suited for massaging the body. It's a really lovely face oil!
