Sun Protection Measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. I am something of a lip balm fanatic, and tend to use them throughout the day when I need a little moisture, but also tend to use them as bases for lipstick and lip gloss as well. It is emollient, but not so much so that it slides off of the lips quickly, and it definitely serves as a good base for lipsticks. I reapply it frequently when I am outdoors in order to maintain the efficacy of the SPF.
