Phytomer, a quintessential French skincare line that has been making high quality skincare for 40 years, uses the most active marine ingredients that deliver real results, and their products are a true joy to use. If you love French skincare and makeup, then you really need to try their products. Understated, utilitarian packaging houses extraordinary formulas– for which the French are known. My latest discovery from Phytomer is one of their wonderful cleansers and toners, and neither disappoint!
Souffle Marin Cleansing Foaming Cream ($44.50 for 5 oz. from Phytomer and SkinStore): This is a scrumptiously creamy, and lightly foaming cleanser, that thoroughly cleanses the skin without ever stripping it. It works well alone, or with a cleansing brush (such as a FOREO LUNA or a Clarisonic), and it leaves skin soft and radiant. It has a barely-there fresh scent, but it isn't assertive, and it should not pose a problem for people with fragrance sensitivities.
According to Phytomer,
On contact with water, SOUFFLE MARIN Cleansing Foaming Cream transforms into an airy foam to offer the skin all the benefits of the seaside. The skin breathes freely and is perfectly cleansed.
This silky cleansing cream envelops the skin in a wave of freshness, offering all the beneficial properties of the sea. When combined with water, it transforms into a light foam that reveals a perfectly cleansed skin and a radiant complexion.
Directions: Lather in the palms of hands, apply to damp skin and massage with small circular movements. Rinse with water. Avoid contact with the eyes. Follow with toner and/or moisturizer of choice.
Active Ingredients:
Armeria Maritima: Depolluting.
Anti-Pollution Marine Sugar: Protects skin from pollutants (heavy metals, tobacco, etc.).
OLIGOMER®: Delivers an ideal supply of all trace elements, strengthens the skin and helps prevent cellular fatigue.
Ingredients: Aqua/Eau, Glycerin, Palmitic Acid, Potassium Palmitate, Potassium Stearate, Stearic Acid, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexyglycerin, Parfum, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Coco-Glucoside, Lactic Acid, Bis-Peg-18 Methyl Ether Dimethyl Silane, Hydrolyzed Algin, Disodium Edta, Maris Sal, Capricylic/Capric Triglyceride, Polyquaternium-7, Biosaccharide Gum-1, Sodium Benzoate, Tocopherol, Citric Acid, Propyl Gallate, Bht, Armeria Meritima, Ulex Europaeus Leaf/Root/Stem Extract, Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde.
Rosée Visage Toning Cleansing Lotion ($35.50 for 8.4 oz. from Phytomer and SkinStore): This two-in-one gentle makeup remover and toner, with the lovely scent of rosewater, gently and effectively cleanses and removes makeup without drying or irritating the skin, and it doesn't leave behind an oily film. The alcohol-free formula effectively removes dirt, debris, oil and makeup without causing any skin irritation. When I use resilient waterproof makeup, however, I definitely prefer using a duo-phase eye makeup remover to breakdown and remove my makeup, but this definitely removes non-waterproof eye makeup formulas with ease.According to Phytomer,
Cleanse, tone and prep your skin with Phytomer Rosee Visage Toning Cleansing Lotion. This 2-in-1 formula is alcohol-free and cleanses skin without drying it out while also removing impurities like makeup and surface oils from your skin. The cleansing lotion even melts off eye makeup so you dont have to pull or tug the delicate skin around your eyes. Calming ingredients like rosewater and aromatic marine water add brightness and suppleness to improve your skins texture and tone without leaving a greasy residue.
Gentle rosewater softens your skin and primes it to soak up your moisturizers for immediate hydration for your skin. Aromatic marine water adds fortifying trace minerals that increase the efficiency of your skin care routine so you see visible results. Refresh your complexion, indulge your senses and relax with its delicate scent.
Directions: Apply to cotton pad and wipe over entire face and neck. Do not rinse.
Active Ingredients:
Sorenia: Relaxing, soothing.
OLIGOMER®: Delivers an optimum dose of trace elements and minerals, fortifies the epidermis and prevents cellular fatigue.
Rose water: Softening.
Ingredients: Aqua (Water)/Eau, Rose Centifolia Flower Water, Propylene Glycol, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Trideceth09, Chlorphenesin, Methylparaben, Cetrimonium Bromide, Dipotassium EDTA, Triethanolamine, Phenoxyethanol, Parfum (Fragrance), Maris Sal (Sea Salt)/Sel Marin, Butylparaben, Ethylparaben, Isobutylparaben, Propylparaben, Ulex Europaeus (Furze) Extract, Geraniol, Citronellol, CI 17200 (D&C Red No. 33).

DeleteLisa ends up with all of the Phytomer we receive since it's too fragranced for me. She gets so excited when a package arrives. I'm sure she's going to love these too.
ReplyDeleteI don't think that this cleanser is too fragranced for you, but the toner definitely has the scent of roses that would probably be too much for you.
