According to African Botanics their Marula Botanical Hand Cream is:
Cold weather means battered dry hands from the elements and the excessive hand-washing that hands are subject to during the cold and flu season. If you add alcohol-laden hand sanitizers to your routine, then your hands end up even more chapped and dehydrated, and the answer for me is always richer hand creams rather than lighter weight lotions.
My most recent hand cream obsession is the new African Botanics Marula Botanical Hand Cream, and it is so extraordinary that it really is peerless. The ultra-emollient luxury oil-infused cream boasts a refreshingly creamy lightweight texture that sinks into the skin immediately and doesn't leave hands in the least bit greasy. If you adhere to the belief that one needs to use thick and greasy hand creams in order to stave-off and heal dry and chapped hands, then you will be astonished by the efficacy of this ingenious hand cream. In fact, I think that it is more accurate to classify Marula Botanical Hand Cream as a cutting-edge antioxidant-rich anti-aging serum/cream hybrid that protects, nourishes, hydrates, soothes, brightens and repairs the skin with great efficacy.
Not only are my hands soft, supple and ultra moisturized, but they are left with the type of pronounced luminosity that I have only ever experienced in luxurious serums and beauty oils for the face. The delectable warm and earthy scent heightens the sensory experience of using this luxe hand cream, but it does fade soon upon application, and therefore won't pose a problem for those among you who prefer scent-free products.
It is noteworthy that the formula is very concentrated, and the effects are very long-lasting– therefore a single tube goes a very very long way. If you treat yourself to one new body product this season, then African Botanics Marula Botanical Hand Cream should be at the top of your list. I kid you not, this hand cream is that extraordinary.

I love me a good hand cream! Though I haven't tried this brand, I have heard the hand cream is amazing!
ReplyDeleteAfrican Botanics is extraordinary, and this hand cream is exceptionally good!
DeleteHow would you say this compares with the Tatcha hand cream (currently my favorite)? Barneys or SpaceNK have to get this in stock before the next bag event!
ReplyDeleteIn terms of quality, they are comparable. That said, their textures and ingredients are so different that I can't do an apples to apples comparison. I love both of these hand creams, and definitely recommend trying this one the next time you need/want to buy a hand cream. For now, it is only available from African Botanics and Net-A-Porter. Barneys does not sell African Botanics products, but hopefully Space NK will start selling their hand cream.
DeleteToo bad it's not at Sephora! I just got a discount card in the mail. It does seem I will be making Rouge this year after all............
DeleteThat would have been a MAJOR score! Oh well, the benefits to being a Rouge member don't seem to be so much more spectacular to justify making unnecessary purchases to achieve it. I have never spent enough to achieve the Rouge level, and am completely fine with that!
DeleteHmmmmmmm......Well, I did place an order for something else (Tatcha body cream) and now I have less than $50 to get to Rouge. AND, when I get my Play box this month, I will be buying a little something in order to get the extra 50 points that comes with that. (The extra points unfortunately do not go towards 'levels', only towards freebies.) That will mean I am almost on top of Rouge so....... for another $40 or so I'd make it and that seems like a 'must'. No?
DeleteAt first I thought there was something wrong in the world because I was going to make Rouge and you were not. Upon thinking about it, you receive many press samples and then I am forced to buy those fabulous products........ (see that gun to my head?)
DeleteNot that I want to enable you, or anything– but if you are only $40.00 away it might be worth it if you find something that you actually want!
DeleteLOL!!!!! Receiving press samples has never stopped me from spending lots of money on fabulous products, though! Lately, however, I have curbed my spending because of our stratospheric vet bills in the wake of Fannie's death and Milo's illness. :-(
Consider me enabled!
DeleteWow, what a stellar review! I have a number of hand creams that I love but it sounds like I MUST try this one!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Allison! I definitely recommend trying this truly amazing hand cream without any reservation! It's perfection!
DeleteYou make this brand so irresistible. Does this have a fragrance?
ReplyDeleteIt has a light earthy scent that fades very quickly. This brand really is irresistible!
DeleteYour description alone sold me. I need to try this pronto
ReplyDeleteThis is definitely an obsession-worthy hand cream, and I really think that you will love it!
DeleteI need to use hand cream more often and this sounds like one I'd actually enjoy using.
ReplyDeleteThis is definitely one of the most incredible hand creams imaginable, and it is an utter joy to use!
DeleteLOVE finding her hand creams :)
ReplyDeleteThis is definitely a great find!
DeleteI'd love to try this but... The price! Eeep!
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely a luxury product, but it's quite concentrated– so this tube will last a long time. It really is totally worth it to!
DeleteMy hands are the worst this time of year b/c of eczema, so having a good hand cream is a must.
ReplyDeleteA good hand cream is definitely a must this time of year, and I suspect that you would find this one particularly soothing for your eczema, Tiki!
DeleteUm... SOLD. I love Marula oil - so luxe against the skin... I think I would enjoy this.
ReplyDeleteThen you will be MADLY in love with this hand cream, Honey!
Deleteohhhh I want luminous hands!
ReplyDeleteThen this is a definite must-have for you, Brooke!
DeleteSoft hands and a fabulous cream, where do I sign???
ReplyDeleteExactly! This is definitely a worthy splurge for a truly extraordinary hand cream!
DeleteI got this as a sample in a fabfitfun box. I cancelled the subs bc i found everything in the box not very useful. A week later I tried this hand cream..OH MY!! What a great surprise.it is FABULOUS!! GET IT, you will NOT be disappointed. Im in healthcare and my hands hurt at the end of the week. I didnt realize how $$$ it was, but I will say its DEF worth it. Not greasy, pleasant light scent (IMHO) and I am very sensitive to scents, quickly absorbs and leaves your skin feeling SOFT & hydrated.
ReplyDeleteI am so thrilled that you have this hand cream! It really is a game changer for me as well. It is pricey, but it is also very concentrated– so a little really does go a long way. I agree with your assessment– it really is an extraordinary hand cream!
