Long before Lola's Secret Beauty Blog existed, or was even a germinating seedling, I fell madly in love with Philip B. products. I remember when my mom, sister and I first discovered the line while shopping, and we each purchased several products. We effusively gushed over the scents and textures at the counter, and that first impression paled in comparison to using these decadent luxe products. It was then that I first tried Philip B. White Truffle Ultra-Rich Moisturizing Shampoo, and to say that it was unlike anything else that I had ever tried is an extreme understatement. Philip B. makes ultra luxurious haircare products that are very very worth the splurge. Philip B Anti-Flake Relief Shampoo is an absolutely amazing shampoo that effectively treats dry scalp, dandruff, psoriasis and eczema. While I do not have any chronic scalp issues, my scalp and hair can become quite dry when the weather really cools down. Periodically, when this happens my scalp can dry out and flake, and Philip B. Anti-Flake is my go-to shampoo because it rapidly, effectively and decisively eradicates those unwanted flakes. Furthermore, my hair is left soft, shiny and bouncy! I simply shake the bottle well, apply the shampoo to from my scalp to my tips, and let it sit for 2-3 minutes. I then add a touch of water to lather it up, and then rinse.

Philip B. White Truffle Ultra-Rich Moisturizing Shampoo is one of the most decadent shampoos that you will ever use, and I cannot sufficiently underscore the extent to which this has remained true since the first time that I used this luxe shampoo all of those years ago. This is an ultra-rich and deeply hydrating shampoo that is formulated for chemically or color-treated hair, but is so nourishing that people with damaged, dry and/or dry curly hair will also covet it.

Philip B. Rejuvenating Oil is an ultra light blend of essential oils that deeply hydrate even the most damaged hair. I use it in a variety of ways, from a daily treatment and styling aid to an ultra deep conditioning treatment. Part of its magic is in its versatility, and it is one of those remarkably effective beauty oils that can be used on a daily basis. When I apply a few drops to my hair before styling (it can be used on wet or dry hair) it leaves my hair frizz-free, moisturized, shiny and manageable. My curls become well-formed shiny ringlets that feel and look stunning. When I use it as a deep conditioner, my hair and scalp are left healthy, ultra-moisturized and soft and supple. I often apply it before going to bed, and then wrap my head in a towel and then rinse it in the shower the following day– the difference is absolutely unmistakable.

Overall Assessment: Philip B. haircare products are ultra-luxe treasures that are a true joy to use. If you want a real treat for your hair and your senses– then you owe it to yourself to try this exquisite line. Over the years I have used so many Philip B. products, and have to say that I have never been anything other than exceedingly impressed.
