Monat Rejuveniqe Oil Intensive | Review

Press Sample provided by iFabbo and Monat (Unaffiliated Links)

I grew up hearing my mother say that the best way to deal with naturally curly hair was to religiously use oil in it to keep it soft, supple, manageable, shiny, and free of frizz and fly-aways. That she did it long before it was a trend is a testament to the efficacy of this method of haircare. I would only add that while the benefits are irrefutable for curly hair that they extend to all types of hair.
Monat Rejuveniqe Oil Intensive is a very nourishing blend of luscious oils that nourish the hair and skin effortlessly. For the hair, I warm a dropper full between my hands and massage it into damp hair from scalp to tips. My hair is rendered more manageable and tangle free, and once dried it is soft, glossy, tangle-free, and frizz-free, but never greasy. I also use it on dry hair for styling, and for taming any frizzies or fly-aways. My curls form into glossy ringlets that look and feel gorgeous. Rejuveniqe Oil Intensive is unquestionably outstanding in its capacity as a luxury hair oil.

As a face and body moisturizer, Rejuveniqe is a decadent oil that is lightweight and fast absorbing. I apply it to warm and damp freshly cleansed skin and massage it in until it disappears completely. The result is deeply nourished skin that is soft, supple, glowing and deeply hydrated. It does everything that I expect from a high quality luxury beauty oil, and it smells utterly divine. The scent is a delectable subtle fruity floral that smells edible! The scent dissipates soon upon application, but is lovely enough that I periodically open the bottle to inhale the lovely aroma. This is a first rate high quality luxury oil that makes the skin velvety soft and the hair lusciously glossy. It is really wonderful, and I am thrilled to have it in my collection of luxury oils.

According to Monat,

Nourish and energize the scalp with an invigorating blend of 11+ unique molecular ingredients –including vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, beta-carotene and omega-3 fatty acids – that mimic the body’s natural oils! The proprietary formula reduces hair thinning, prevents oxidative stress and adds incredible volume, repairing the hair with instantly visible, long-lasting shine without the damaging effects of silicone.

  4. Oh noooo. More desire inducing posts. I want this one as well but will refrain from ordering anything until your final countdown. This sounds divine. I have the opposite kind of hair so oils tend to work a bit against my super straight hair, but a little bit, just a little tiny bit works well I guess.
I hope your week is going great my darling. Here I am over activated and stimulated as usual. Am I aging at a faster pace here? I am happy but too tired. do you have a secret to keep you strong and energetic? You do so many things. Just keeping up with a blog as detailed and thorough as yours requires a great deal of stamina!

    1. LOL! Nothing like inducing desire! This is definitely a lovely oil! A tiny little bit is really all that you need for your hair-- as long as you don't over do it and end up with an oils slick your hair should benefit nicely from a little oiling!

I am still trying to eliminate a few from my list, and there is an exciting new oil that I am about to receive that I suspect will make it to that list-- so things are getting a bit more interesting!

Life is definitely busy, and as you know a life in academia keeps one busy. The blog definitely requires lots of nurturing, and it feels a bit like a living organism that requires nourishment and tending to. I have no secret, and I certainly am not impervious to stress. Thankfully the blog mitigates some of the stress that is part of life! xoxoxox

  13. To be honest, I've never tried any hair oils since I don't have curly hair BUT with that being said, this sounds excellent just because it can be used on any type! I have crazy flyaways and frizzies sometimes so that would help!

    1. Hi Dani, You definitely don't have to have curly hair to reap the benefits from oils to condition hair. For instance you can apply it sparingly at night, and you will see a difference in the glossiness and manageability of your hair the following day. It's also great for conditioning the scalp! A small amount warmed in the lands and then applied to the hair will work wonders for your flyaways and frizzes!
