After posting my review of the Mario Badescu Oil Free Moisturizer SPF 17 the other day, I received an email from a reader who wondered if I had tried their Oil Free Moisturizer SPF 30. She was interested, but wanted a higher sun protection factor for daily use. Not only had I tried it, but I own it, use it, and love it! I won't leave the house wearing anything less than an SPF 30 on my face, neck and décolleté-- and for this reason I tend to choose this moisturizer over all others when I don't want to have to fuss with the added step of a separate sunscreen.According to Mario Badescu,

I love that this moisturizer contains antioxidant rich Green Tea, hydrating Aloe Vera gel, and soothing St. John's Wort. The texture is lightweight, greaseless, fast absorbing, and it leaves my skin feeling and looking soft, supple and moisturized. It does not interfere with makeup application, and in fact applies very smoothly- leaving a very nice base for foundation. In fact, on the days that I use this moisturizer I skip a face primer altogether-- however your mileage may vary (particularly if you have very oily skin). Of course to get the most out of this lotion as a sunscreen- you need to reapply it throughout the day as you would with any sunscreen, but I find it to be highly effective as a moisturizer and as a sunscreen (a rarity to do both so well in my experience). This is a wonderful product!
