According to Osmia Organics their Facial Calibration Serum is composed of, "a select combination of plant oils, chosen for their balancing qualities, helps skin become more even and smooth, and assists in regulating sebum production.  Olive squalane, kukui oil, and macadamia oil nourish the skin, and calming schisandra fruit extract soothes irritation.  Super powered acai delivers an antioxidant boost, and organic black seed oil brings a vitamin and mineral infusion.  Absorbs quickly, and does not leave the skin oily.  In fact, used regularly, this face serum can help oily skin behave itself, and combination skin become less confused.  The scent is mildly herbaceous, with the subtle spicy undertones of black cumin seed oil."

How: 1/2 to one pump over the face and neck after cleansing, while skin is still quite damp.

My experience with Facial Calibration Serum: As you are no doubt aware, I am completely obsessed with facial oil serums, and this one fits beautifully in my growing collection. This beautiful  serum is among the best choices for those with combination or oily skin, and it does wonders at keeping excessive oil production at bay. It is a beautiful and potent blend of nourishing oils, and it is very concentrated- two drops is all you need for your entire face and neck-- particularly if your skin is warm and damp during application. It is a slightly thicker oil, but it sinks in very quickly when used as I have described. It can be used both day and night, and it offers wonderful deep hydration. The oils that were chosen for this serum were specifically selected for their properties that regulate sebum production while smoothing and hydrating the skin. One of the things that every face oil obsessed person seeks is the unprecedented deep glow from within that oils impart, and Facial Calibration Serum does not disappoint! The scent is a beautiful and earthy one that might best be described as herbal, but with a very faint and detectable note of rosemary. It is not at all overpowering, but is instead quite intoxicating- though it does fade rather quickly upon application (a definite advantage for those with a sensitivity to scents). This oil was lovingly handcrafted using the finest ingredients that are safe, healthy and effective.

Overall assessment: This is a beautiful serum, and while it is good for all skin types- it is especially delightful for people with combination and oily skin who fear using face oils. I simply cannot recommend it highly enough. I am constantly asked to recommend face oils that are great for people with oily skin (who fear face oils)- so to all of you who ask- this is the face oil for you!

My only regret is that half of my bottle spilled all over my patio when a gust of wind knocked it over while photographing the contents of the bottle- I scrambled and applied it to my arms and legs, and nearly cried. I now am very interested in trying their Facial Restoration Serum- that one sounds amazing as well!
